What is the PADI Nitrox Course?
The PADI Nitrox course is the most popular PADI diving specialty as it gives you more bottom time, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
The PADI Nitrox course at Star Diving Academy takes around 3-4 hours and you will learn about the different concentrations of oxygen and nitrogen in your tank. This is a seriously important component of diving at different depths for different periods of time. We consider this a critical course for all divers.
You will learn how you can extend your dives, dive for longer and what this means for you and your buddy. At Star Diving Academy we make it fun, easy and enjoyable.
You will finish the course being well versed in how important it is to understand Nitrox (or Enriched Air). You will understand how to ensure you do this in a safe and responsible way so you can get the most out of your diving. You will know how to analyse your own tank, accurately set a dive computer for Nitrox and to ensure your skills go up another level to get you closer to Master Scuba Diver or Divemaster. We recommend this course to everyone!
